Scope and Focus
Before submitting, ensure your manuscript aligns with the journal's scope. Submissions outside our focus area may not be considered for review. Please visit the journal’s Aims and Scope for more information.
Manuscript Preparation
General Formatting Guidelines
- Language: All submissions must be in clear, concise English. Non-English speakers are encouraged to use professional language editing services if needed.
- File Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (
.doc
or.docx
) or LaTeX format. - Font and Spacing: Use a standard font (Cambria, 12 points), double spacing, and 1-inch margins on all sides.
Word Count Guidelines
- Research Articles: 2,500–3,500 words
- Review Articles: 3,000–10,000 words
- Short Communications: 1,000–2,500 words

Title Page
- Title: Concise and informative (Maximum of 25 words)

Abstract
- A structured abstract of no more than 250 words, summarizing the research aim, methods, results, and conclusion.
- Avoid citations and abbreviations in the abstract.
References
- Follow the American Psychological Association (APA) citation format.
- Ensure all references cited in the text are included in the reference list and vice versa.
Tables and Figures
- Submit tables and figures as separate files.
- Include captions and ensure they are self-explanatory.
- Figures should be in high resolution (e.g., 300 dpi).
Ethical Compliance
- Authors must adhere to ethical guidelines for research and publication, including obtaining necessary approvals (e.g., IRB for human subjects research).
- Declare any conflicts of interest.
Submission Process
Online Submission
- Submit manuscripts through the journal's online submission system: Log into Portal .
- Register or log in to your account and follow the step-by-step instructions.
Cover Letter
- Include a cover letter addressed to the Editor-in-Chief.
- State the significance of your work and why it fits the journal’s scope.
- Confirm that the manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
Confirmation
- Upon successful submission, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking ID for your manuscript.
Peer Review Process
Our journals follow a double-blind peer review process:
- Initial Screening: The editorial team reviews the manuscript for scope and quality.
- Peer Review: Manuscripts passing the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers.
- Decision: Based on reviewer feedback, the editorial team decides to accept, revise, or reject the manuscript.
The review process typically takes 2-3 weeks. Authors will be notified of the decision through their personalized portal and via email.
Post-Acceptance
Revisions
- If revisions are required, authors will receive detailed reviewer comments.
- Revised manuscripts must be submitted within a week.
Proofreading
- Accepted manuscripts will undergo professional editing and formatting.
- Authors will receive proofs for final approval before publication.
Open Access and Copyright
- This is an open-access journal: all articles will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download.
- To provide open access, this journal has an open-access fee (also known as an article publishing charge, APC) that needs to be paid by the authors or on their behalf, e.g., by their research funder or institution.
- Our journal's Article Processing Charge (APC) is N45,000 for authors from Nigeria or $45 USD for authors outside Nigeria.
- Authors retain copyright but grant the journal the right of first publication.
Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY)
Allows users to copy, create extracts, abstracts, and new works from the Article, to alter and revise the Article, and to make commercial use of the Article (including reuse and/or resale of the Article by commercial entities), provided the user:
- Gives appropriate credit (with a link to the formal publication through the relevant DOI).
- Provides a link to the license.
- Indicates if changes were made.
- Ensures the licensor is not represented as endorsing the use made of the work.

Additional Policies
Plagiarism Policy
